The primary goal of this project was to transform a dated, compartmentalized main floor into a bright, airy, and connected space for modern living. This was achieved by removing the central wall separating the kitchen and living areas, instantly creating an open-concept layout with uninterrupted sightlines and abundant natural light.

To create a seamless and unified feel, new flooring was installed throughout. Classic wainscotting and fresh trim were meticulously applied to the walls and the new kitchen island, adding timeless architectural character that ties the entire floor together. At the heart of the home is a completely rebuilt custom kitchen, featuring a sophisticated two-tone design with rich wood lower cabinets and crisp white uppers. Every detail, from the functional new island to the custom-trimmed living room bookcases and new lighting, was chosen to support the home's warm, inviting, and cohesive new aesthetic.
